This painting is on Wallis archival white mounted to a board. I am a sky watcher day and night. During an afternoon drive through the San Joachin valley, I stopped on the roadside to photograph a particularly dramatic skyscape when the clouds suddenly parted and light rays projected towards the ground like brushstrokes on the sky’s blue canvas. The air was cool and refreshing. The breeze was hushed yet loud. I was alone yet felt surrounded with familiarity. I was energized by the experience and thankful to witness the ever-changing light conversations with the heavens and earth.
