The Magyar tribes made their way across Central Asia Steppe to Hungary more than a 1000 years ago. Those that settled the Hungarian Great Plains developed an agricultural and equestrian culture unlike anywhere else in the world. The Hungarian cowboy taught their horses special skills to help them survive. Today's Hungarian cowboy preserves the long and proud heritage of the Pustza, Hungary's Great Plain. I observed and photographed their very entertaining talents.
