This is my grandson’s favorite stuffed animal which he received for Christmas when he was a toddler. He lovingly refers to it as “Christmas Bear” and it is always by his side. Tommy is currently 11 years old, but continues to take this bear everywhere with him! I loved how the light from the window was falling on the bear putting one side of it almost completely in shadow. This was my inspiration for doing the piece, as I’ve never tried anything with such strong contrast before.
