A more colorful approach to the dark colors of Mandy the Daschshund resting on her princess couch :). Watercolor underpainting, I played with Girault metallics to brighten different areas for more texture. For someone who normally paints with a lot of 'realism' I challenged myself to be a bit looser in capturing her personality. Hope you enjoy the result!
