I wanted to capture the sheer joy of BreeSea swimming with her 'wubba' in the intense Arizona summer. We swim 7 dogs for 20 minutes every day to keep them in shape for dog agility competitions. New to pastels, I love the brilliant colors and textures that I can create and have to admit that I'm as addicted to painting with pastels as I am about competing with my dogs in agility! I use a variety of pastels on a UART 400 paper to capture this moment.
