Rainy Downtown Afternoon

I started with black Uart board to portray the dark values in this quaint yet urban street scene in the little town where I live. I started off with a sketch for appropriate perspective using a nupastel. I then worked in the values in the sky, then the buildings and trees in the horizon, to the street, finishing off with the bright lights and reflections of the lights on the road.
