Winter Geometry

I’m an artist living in Winnipeg, Canada which is right in the Centre of Canada. We have long and cold winters so snow covered landscapes are very familiar to me and I tend to paint them frequently. I’m primarily a landscape painter but if I had to choose, I would say I prefer the winter landscape where you can see the skeletal structure of trees and not have to deal with an all green landscape. A blanket of snow is also a wonderful reflector of light which is what attracted me to this scene in my neighborhood.
