The morning walks in my community inspired me to do a bridges series in my Linda Riccici soft pastels class. I used Ampersand pastelbord and Richeson pastels. Taking a class from Linda, made me bolder in my use of color. This is my impression of the actual bridge and scenery. I love the vibrancy of Richeson pastels. My background is physical therapy but I've always liked to draw as a child. When my husband retired in Florida, I decided to pursue my passion in art full-time. I started with pen & ink and colored pencils, dabbled with watercolor and acrylic and after taking Linda's soft pastel class, I gained more confidence as an artist!
