My family had a cabin on Lake Ida. I took this photo in the early 90s the last time I was on Lake Ida before my Grandfather passed away. This is a place that is near and dear to my family and I thought it very fitting to be my first submission. I used pastel mat (white) with Sennelier, Jack Richeson and unison pastels. I used Sennelier spray fixative. I used pipe foam, natural sea sponge and my fingers as blending tools.
